To GIS Community,
I would like to enquire the different land title numbering system practised
in the world. This is to be used to design a land parcel indexing and
numbering system.
1) How long this numbering should be (on average) ?
2) Any country deploying alpha-numeric indexing system in the land titles ?
3) Is it always confine to 0-9 digits only or can other numeric system such
as binary can utlised ?
