Hi Again!
Forget my previous remark. I was wrong.=20 My judgement was based on prior experience, and the current MapInfo version correctly turns all segments into the same direction when combining. However, there seems to be no way to tell or control which of the segment directions will prevail.
Humble apologies, Mats.E =3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D= =3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D= =3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D Mats Elfstrom, GIS-engineer mats.elfstrom@carlbro.se Carl Bro Teknikkonsult AB ICQ# 9517386 205 09 MALMO tel +46 (0)40 256016 cell +46 (0)705 276027 www.carlbro.se=20=20=20=20=20=20=20=20=20=20=20=20= =20=20=20=20=20=20=20=20=20=20=20=20=20=20=20=20=20 =3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D= =3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D= =3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D

No necessarily. The two polylines may be digitized in opposite directions in which case they cannot be combined.
Cheers, Mats.E

Snap first, then combine should do the trick.
