Hi Listers,
Any chance anyone out there has any experience using the Military Grid
Reference System (MGRS)? I'm seeking available extensions or applications
that will streamline (automate) the process of taking these coordinates and
uploading
them into ArcView or ArcGIS (or a compatible format).
Ideally, I'd like to locate an application that will facilitate
converting/translating them into a mainstream coordinate system. I'm
currently using GEOTRANS V2.2.1, which gets the job done, however, the
resulting .dat files are cumbersome to clean up and load into ArcView
3.x/ArcGIS 8.x.
All ideas and recommendations are appreciated.
