Subject: RE: GISList: Changing an .apr file
Date:  12/09/2002 07:50:57 AM
From:  Mats.Elfstrom .. carlbro.se

Hi Mabe!

The only way I know is to hand edit the .apr file, and replace all absolute
search paths with relative paths. I have done so on occasion, but this was
in AV 3.2. The .apr format then was in ASCII but may have changed since
then.

You must of course arrange your shape files and stuff so that relative paths
make sense, and then the whole tree structure can be moved around or be put
on a CD.

Regards, Mats.E

Subject: GISList: Changing an .apr file

Hi all!

I need to adapt an .apr file (ArcView) so that it can be opened from any
location. I need the project to be able to open from any place, it could be
directly from a CD or from the hard drive where I saved it.

Could somebody give me a light on this!

Thanks!!
