Subject: GISList: ATLAS Select
Date:  01/20/2003 08:21:54 PM
From:  DuBose Griffin

Good Afternoon,

I am dealing with some legacy data dated back to 1980. I am trying to
spatially represent the data and therefore I need to standardize the
data as to the datum that the coordinates are based on.

For many years, the geographic location was recorded using Atlas select
in the UTM projection. I have looked in Atlas including the help files
and I cannot seem to find any references to datums.

The projection the maps are in is UTM. Does anyone old Atlas users know
what datum this is?

Thank you,

DuBose
