The GeoTiff Examiner is a product that only assign's a world file to a tiff or GeoTiff. In order to reproject a GeoTiff you may want to consider using a program called GlobalMapper. You can find it at http://www.rockware.com/catalog/pages/globalmapper.html or www.globalmapper.com or www.mapmart.com

I'm not sure, but this little program may help you. Here's a blurb from the creator's website, and a link:
What is GeoTiff Examiner? Raster images in the TIFF format (Tagged Image File Format) can be georeferenced in two different manners. First, an accompanying file, usually called a World File, may be provided. A world file carries pixel scale information and the location, in real world coordinates, of the (typically) northwest pixel.
Second, this same information can be added in specially identified tags in the Tiff file. In this case, the Tiff file is usually referred to as a GeoTiff. GeoTiffExaminer is a program which enables users to examine, and modify, the information contained in a GeoTiff file, or its World File companion.
