Hello sir, In Erdas Imagine, import the geotiff in Img format and then reproject it to your required projection. You need to resample the image again. This reprojected image can again be exported to Geotiff. Regards, Hrishikesh Prasad Senior Software Engineer MobiApps (an Arthur D. Little Company) Bangalore - 560 068. Depending on the spatial reference that your would like to reproject your tiff file to, you will probably have to resample and transform the original image.
This may result in the loss of some data.
Any good remote sensing tool will allow you to reproject a Geotiff. Some examples are ERMapper, Erdas Imagine etc.
It is a relatively straight-forward process explained in the on-line help.
