Hi all! thanks for all your help. Can I import a shape file from GIS into autocivil? I am trying to show some GPS points downloaded with the Garmin extension in GIS 3.2 into an autocad drawing. I found out that the shape file that is saved with the garmin extension has the coordenates of the world ( degrees) instead of la/long and therefore it shows in the right location in autocad - please let me know if I am right. If, on the other hand, I save a text file with the garmin extension in GIS, such text file has lat/long and when I import it, it does not match with the aerial photos I have to overlay in both autocad and GIS.
Can I import a shape file? and also why the text file coordenate system does not match my aerial photos? thanks Monica
