Hi, Degrees are spherical co-ordinates and Lat/lon also is spherical co-ordinates. What you need to check is probably that the Unit is decimal degree or decimal minutes. All the layers must be in the same unit either decimal degree or degree minutes. Regards, Hrishikesh Prasad

Hi all! thanks for all your help. Can I import a shape file from GIS into autocivil? I am trying to show some GPS points downloaded with the Garmin extension in GIS 3.2 into an autocad drawing. I found out that the shape file that is saved with the garmin extension has the coordenates of the world ( degrees) instead of la/long and therefore it shows in the right location in autocad - please let me know if I am right. If, on the other hand, I save a text file with the garmin extension in GIS, such text file has lat/long and when I import it, it does not match with the aerial photos I have to overlay in both autocad and GIS.
Can I import a shape file? and also why the text file coordenate system does not match my aerial photos? thanks Monica
