Anthony I don't participate in GIS-L very often. But it would be a real shame if you did leave the list because of the flaming. Without being patronising I find your posts interesting - also you actually bother to contribute a lot rather than just popping up to trash people. It's a bit of a sign of the times that courtesy, manners and value for other people's opinions get thrown in the rubbish bin.
Yes sometimes Dimitri might be a bit over zealous, but hell you all have a delete key - use it if you don't want his opinions. It can be found in several places on the keyboard - I'll happily supply diagrams if anyone needs them.
Anyway gotta go as I have a presentation to prepare on developments in the GIS software market in the last year to prepare. Hell I might even mention Manifold :->
Cheers
Jon.

Sitting here in this business center in New Delhi, it has been painful and excruciatingly slow to read all these recent antagonisms. At first, I was a bit envious I hadn't been able to join in, but as I read them in order, I was pretty dismayed. Granted, I'm usually one of the agitators, but a select few have sunk to new levels on this thread. When I get back to the office I'll be disengaging from this list and unsubscribing. Best to All,
Anthony
