Ps: Peter, finding head-to-head reviews/comparisons of these products may
be difficult (particlarly since one costs about $5K and the other about $300

Hello,
This is my first post. I have briefly searched the internet for
information on Manifold but have only been able to come up with
"marketing" type information on the product. I have the obvious
listings from their website
(http://www.manifold.net/products/mfd50pro/mfd50pro_home.html) and just
received a copy of the software. However, I am wondering if there are
any ESRI ArcGIS (ArcInfo) users out there who could provide a good
opinion on Manifold 5 versus ArcGIS 8.x.
