in considering, the newly created ZCTA's by the US census bureau, many questions come to mind of how this will be integrated into use....
Since the creation of ZCTA's - does anyone have experience or information of in how many cases, the ZCTA is comprised of other zipcodes besides the one of which the ZCTA is called by (which is based on the majority of the zipcodes that fall within that boundary)? does this method make attaching ZCTA data to zipcodes suitable or not?
i have seen the bureau's documentation on how a detailed match could be done to explore this but that it is a lengthy process - so i thought someone may have references for such research being done already.
thanks for any thoughts or references on this issue.
