Janet,
As a normally quiet lurker on the list, I would suggest that these
bitch sessions flare up about once or twice a year and last for a few
days till everyone has had a chance to vent.
For the most part it is a very useful list and if you have just
joined, welcome. Eventually the members realize they are going in
circles. A few leave because they forgot why they joined in the first
place. But for the most part, the list is an extemely helpful and
friendly family. (I guess all families have their spats).
I hope you stay and enhance the company.
