I am experimenting with Surfer from Golden Software (I have not found
a surfer-l to ask this question on)....
Ben Cole got me started on the right foot:

I have always had good success with my questions by calling them up
and asking. I have also posted questions to the list with good

Thanks Ben. I have never been able to find that forum in the past.
I am now working on the problem and starting to have some success. I
will summarize the solution when I get it working.
