I am attemping to create some relief maps using Arcview 3.2, 3D Analyst and Spatial Analyst. My problem is I want to be able to drape the USGS DRG maps on my DEM I have created and have the releif show up in 2D. (shaded hills, 3D effect)
Does someone have a process that could let me in on, so that I too may create wonderful maps?
This article was useful,
http://www.nps.gov/carto/silvretta/realism/
but did not get me all the way there.
TIA!
Will Sum!
Charles
