Subject: RE: RE: GISList: Fw: CAG Resolution on War?
Date:  03/20/2003 09:20:01 AM
From:  Rowe, John

All i said was that this forum is not the place for emails and diatribes of
topics
unconnected with the GIS forum.

If people want to discuss other topics do it off line.

What alot of people using this GIS list seem to forget is that some of us
use at work for work related topics. Getting several emails on topics that
have no relevance to the topic wastes our time.

Mmmm, ... rubbish???
You are probably not supposed to call "rubbish" topics like War ...
Anyway, ... thanks for your interesting point of view about War.

Have a nice day, John.

Dear all,
yesterday, I received one email, originated from
france, asking for signatures by UN peace keeping
activists against the war on Iraq. That also carried
the request to pass on the info to as many people as
could to get signatures to prevent war. As I thought
this may not be a right forum to pass those emails, I
left it. As most of the Geocommunity Associations are
now coming out messages against the war, should we
have any voting on this among our listers?.

Regards
Jay
