Thanks for all the help. My data is float data. I have tried loading a grid
with the "VALUE" being point IDs, then I loaded a table (.dbf or .csv) which
has the same point ID (cell ID) and associated [float] variables. I joined
the table to the grid and it worked great (thanks Holly and Toby) - but, I
do not seem to have the option of "export data" to make the join permanent.
I will try buildVAT as Toby suggested, but I do not have much experience
with this - got to learn sometime!
