Hello List,
I am in charge of conflating the NHD files for three HUCs and local hydrolo=
gy files. The Local data has a more comprehensive and accurate spatial geo=
metry but lacks the related attributes. I have worked with the Esri ArcH=
ydro data model to improve the quality of the local data(creating a network=
and flow).=20
My question is how to conflate the two datasets. Is it better to take an N=
HD file and spatially adjust it to match the local data? or Should the att=
ributes only be transfered through reach files or another technique. Has a=
nyone done a project similar to this and can offer advice or point out avai=
lable resources, extentions, scripts etc....=20=20
I will sum up in the end for all.
