Original Q:
I get the error message: "Bad field encountered in DText virtual
table (vtab)" and cannot open the project.
A: No helpful responses from the list, but I found the culprit. A
text table I had used to generate an event theme from, had developed
some weird formatting in it. When I opened it in Excel, it had lots
of tabs added to each record. I cleaned it up and the project opened
fine. I only discovered it because that particular theme is the one I
happened to need now so I tried to open a new project and load the
table. Not sure WHY it did it, but all is well now.
