Hi Monica,
First add your shapefile and Grid to ArcMap
Go to Spatial Analyst --> Options. Set your shapefile/theme/layer as the A=
nalysis mask.=20=20
Then go to Raster Calculator. Simply double click on the Grid in the layer=
s window to bring it into the expression window. Now click Evaluate. The =
Grid will be clipped to the extent of the shapefile.=20=20

Does anybody know how could I clip out from a layer or theme that is a GRID
(raster image) with another layer or theme that is a shapefile in
GIS 8.2? I have special analist and 3-D spacial analist.
