Hi Listers,
We have a need for a GPS-based solution with the following requirements:
1. 5 - 10 GPS/GIS units (w/ the following capabilities)
2. All GPS/GIS units inter-related and inter-connected (wireless/remotely)
3. Capability for any end-user to graphically observe the location of any
one and/or all other users in real time.
4. Capability for any end-user to plot and record observation points.
5. Capability for any end-user to reference any/all recorded observation
points recorded.
6. Capability to import/upload common georeferenced GIS dataset(s) formats
(i.e. DRGs, Shapefiles, etc...) for background visual reference.
Would anyone with knowledge of such a solution (existing application, COTS,
or otherwise) or a specific vendor whom can provide such a service, please
send me a note.
