PLEASE DISTRIBUTE AS YOU SEE FIT
To all,
I am Dr. Scott Stoodley, Director of Environmental Programs at Applied Analysis Inc. This year I am co-chairing a session on the use of GIS and/or remote sensing for water quality related projects at the North American Lake Management Society's 2003 Annual International Symposium. The general call for papers is listed below this message.
If you have a paper that you would like to submit, please note the Session Topic listed directly below. If you have a paper that does not directly relate to the subtopics but uses RS/GIS, please submit anyway using the same Session Topic. Feel free to email me directly with questions.
We look forward to receiving your abstracts. As this conference is heavily attended, it is probably wise to submit your abstracts as early as possible.
Thanks,
Scott Stoodley

NALMS 2003 Call for Papers:
Good Day from the very cold Northeast. On behalf of the the
NALMS 2003 Program Committee, I would like to announce
the call for papers for the 2003 Annual Symposium of the North
American Lake Management Society.
This year, the symposium will be held at the Foxwoods Resort
Casino, in Mashantucket, CT, during the first full week of
November, 2003. Given the strong history of volunteer monitoring
in New England, and the presense of several volunteer monitoring
program coordinators on the program committee, we are working
hard to ensure good representation of the volunteer monitoring
and local stewardship communities. Your participation will help
make that possible!
The deadline for submission of abstracts is Wednesday, April 30,
2003. As always, we are planning for a wide variety of platform
and poster presentations, and welcome submissions any time up
to the deadline. Complete details regarding the call for papers is
available via the NALMS website at: http://www.nalms.org
We look forward to receiving abstracts, and to assembling a
great program.
Regards,
The NALMS 2003 Program Committee
