I'm using DEM data sets from the USGS downloaded from this: link http://edc.usgs.gov/glis/hyper/guide/1_dgr_demfig/states/KY.html
I've used Arcview 3.2a and GridPig extension to build surfaces for the state of Kentucky
I'd like to reproject the elevation model into Decimal Degrees so that I may overlay county boundaries on the terrain.
I'm getting an error when I try to convert the data - the reprojected DEM is not matching up with the geographic data.
I'm used several different ArcView Extensions and get varied yet erroneous results.
Any suggestions?
Brian
