Greetings beloved list,=20
I have been searching the web for GIS freeware that would offer GIS novice's the ability to view and edit (at least a little) basic GIS data formats, such as shapefile's and coverage's. I just thought that I should look into the wisdom and expertise of the group, before I continue downloading tons of .exe files to my desktop. Thanks so much in advance.
Sincerely,
