Hi,
I recently installed ArcView 8.3 on my machine. Now, even going back
to 8.2, I am unable to add a grid. It tells me that it is an invalid
raster file and looking up the grids properties, it tells me that it has
only one entry and the cell size is 1. If the grid is part of an old
project, it shows. If I save the grid as a layer, it shows. If I save
it as a new grid, it shows. Trying to do it the esri way didn't work
(copy the grid somewhere else and delete the auxiliary file). However,
the grids work, if I copy the folders within windows explorer and forget
about the .aux file. Did anybody have the same problem and knows how to
solve it?
