Subject: GISList: GIS-Models for nutrient load assessment
Date:  06/10/2003 03:20:00 AM
From:  Vassil Vassilev

Dear all,
In a near future I am going to deal with models for estimating nutrient load
from point and non-point sources in one river basin in my country. Because
they are too many GIS-based models for this purpose we are going as a first
step to analyze most of them and to find the most appropriate one (having in
mind the data that we have, funding, time, and experts).
That is why I am looking for an opinion from your side if someone from you
already have experience with this models and could give me a critical view
of some of the models or share his/her experience for integrating the models
for the local conditions.
As a final step we will have to integrate the model into a decision support
system, which means that the model should be easily integrated in GIS
software.
If you have experience with some of these models or other not mentioned here
and would like to share your knowledge about them I will highly appreciate
your efforts.

collected information.
