Glenn,
Last year, TechTV did a nice video feature on the David Rumsey Collection
(historical maps and Internet GIS). The entire video is 9 min, but the
portion focused on GIS starts at 3:53 mark. It is non-commercial in nature,
and viewable on-line at TechTV here:
http://www.techtv.com/screensavers/showtell/story/0,24330,3369256,00.html,
then click on "Video Highlights" icon.
Since this is already on-line for immediate viewing, maybe the TV producer
could review first. If they find it useful I would be pleased to help them
with contacting David Rumsey and TechTV regarding permissions to use it in
their production, full res version, format, etc.

I'm working with a producer from a public access TV station who's putting
together a doc. on GIS.
He's in need of some video clips that would essentially be non-commercial in
nature but more focused on general applications and uses of GIS
technologies.
If you have access to a vieo that you'd be willing to share and have used in
the show please contact me to arrange.
Note: we'll need a very quick turn-around (ie. overninght fed-ex to him
tonight)
