Subject: Re: GISList: TIN creation...
Date:  07/02/2003 12:05:01 PM
From:  Ron Lake

Hi,

Did you know that GML 3. can represent coverages (e.g. elevation surfaces) and 3D solids? No?

Did you know that GML 3. can represent time dependent data as well?

Want to learn more about GML (Geography Markup Language) - the fast moving international standard for encoding and transporting geographic information!

Why not attend: GML Dev Days 2003, in beautiful Vancouver, Canada. For information and to register just go to: http://www.gmldev.org. July 20-24th 2003.

Note: GML is well on its way to becoming an ISO standard (ISO 19136), and the meeting in Vancouver will also include a joint ISO/OGC GML Revision Working Group that is looking at the future version of GML.

Why be left out of the action?

Cheers

Ron Lake
