If you run Debian Linux, typing "apt-get dist-upgrade" will install any ne= w system updates in a manner akin to the WinXP auto update. This can be ru= n automagically as a cron job. And this is not limited to the operating sys= tem - any software that comes in a Debian package (Apache, MySQL, PHP, Webm= in, etc, etc) can also be updated with a single command automated in the cr= on.=20
