Subject: GISList: Extrude by Attribute...
Date:  07/30/2003 05:40:01 PM
From:  Lega, Robert

Hello all, sorry for the X-posting,

I have a dill of a pickle here. Using Autocad Map 2000i, I have buildings =
that were imported to DWGs from SHP, that have attributes that designate a =
"Roof_Elevation" and I need to Extrude the shape using that attribute. It'=
s easy to do in ArcMap, but I need to have these buildings completed in Aut=
oCadMap, DWG format.=20=20

As a side, I can extrude each building by "hand," inputting the actual roof=
elevation, but since I have thousands of buildings in many cities, I was w=
ondering if there is some way for the EXTRUDE command to read off an attrib=
ute. Or any other ideas that ya'll might have .

Thanks to all in advance...will sum at end.

Robert Lega
