Dear All:
I have a shape file that is the results of several intercepted ones in Arc View. Some polygon are so small that I would like to merge them with the adjacent one based on the greatest area. I do not know if there is a limit of the number or size of polygons, but when I work with the theme sometimes it leaves "empty holes" in the middle specially when intersecting it again. Does any of you know any good tools to clean the shape file? I would like to combine all adjacent polygons having the same attribute, I have tried Xtools and Geoprocessing but things just get worse. I also tried to export shapes as coverages in Arc GIS and then export them back to shapes but no success. Other problem is that there are some donough holes...
A good advise will be really appreciated.
Thanks a lot, William,
