GISLIST,
Does anyone have experience rigging up a Garmin unit
to an MBX-3 for collecting real-time data? I'm not
able to get real-time data. Under the 'Setup'
'Interface' options I have tried RTCM/NMEA, RTCM/TEXT
and Garmin DGPS but they all result in a status
reading "check wiring". The wiring appears ok
according to the instructions. The only cable that
does not have any affect when unplugged is the XBX
data cable. My guess is either I have a setting wrong
somewhere or this cable is flawed. Any thoughts will
be greatly appreciated and I'll summarize if there's
any interest in that.
