I had a problem with some invalid .jpg files I was loading as pictures into 8.3. Help Article ID 18360 explains that they may have been "progressive JPEG" files so I got them in simply by changing them to bitmaps - but artifacts of the original attempts remain. When I load my .mdx file I still get the "Invalid raster dataset. Failed to create raster layer" message for each original attempt. I have my pictures ... how do I get rid of these silly messages? =20 Tom =20 Tom Haythornthwaite GIS and Mapping Officer Survey Action Center 6930 Carroll Avenue, Suite 240 Takoma Park, MD 20912 - USA Tel: (1) 301-891-9192, ext: 309 Fax: (1) 301-891-9193 <mailto:tom@sac-na.org> tom@sac-na.org www.sac-na.org =20 _______________________________________________ gislist mailing list gislist@lists.geocomm.com http://lists.geocomm.com/mailman/listinfo/gislist
