Hello Gis-Listers --
I just received a bunch of data for a new project and I'm having trouble with viewing an ADF file.
I'm using ArcGIS 8.3. The data came as an E00 file (called topo.e00 -- allegedly it is a 10 meter DEM dataset) which I imported to a coverage using ArcToolbox. It created a single file called topo.adf, as well as two subdirectories -- one called INFO (which contains 5 files all begining with "arc" and with various extensions including .nit, .dat, and .dir), the other called TOPO (which contains 4 files all with .adf extension).
When I use ArcCatalog, the grid icon appears beside the file called "topo" but when I try to preview it, I cannot. In fact, I am unable to view any information about it at all. Neither can I add the data to my ArcMap document.
What could be the problem and how the heck do I fix it?
Thanks, Michele
