OK. Here's the deal. I was looking at the print preview and the logo
looked really bad. The thing actually plotted quite nicely. No worries.

Paul,
ArcGIS itself does not have layout resolution limits. As you suggest it
depends purely upon the resolution of theo riginal image and how much you
magnify it. I too have had this problem with logos (especially when grabbed
from a website, they tend to be very small).
I suggest you contact your client/marketing department andr equest a larger
image of the logo.

What is the pixel resolution for a layout in ArcGIS8 .3? I'm trying to
insert a picture (logo) and I can't size it properly without degrading the
image. I think that perhaps the resolution for the image has to be
