Dear Listers:
I am looking for a gps unit with good accuracy (10 meter). Here's the catch: It's going to be used under the tree canopy. I would like a unit that is under a thousand dollars and will be looking to buy several of them for a crew. I currently use a Garmin Etrex Vista, but don't trust it to be this accurate under tree canopy.
This leads to my next question: Is there a source to find out the coverage of WAAS? I believe my Etrex may do the trick if I can get WAAS coverage in Lousiana.
