Subject: [gislist] Grime Updates
Date:  11/03/2003 06:00:01 AM
From:  Graeme Brooke

Dear List,

I've been away working in the Solomon Islands for a good part of the year
and finally got back to my ADSL connection here in Oz and the many updates
and amendments needed on the Grime GIS/Imagery (etc.) freeware links site
(see www.grime.net/gistools) that have been suggested by users of the site.

These freeware apps have been added, as well as the associated cross
referenced file types that they read and write:
a.. 3D Object Converter
b.. Browz 3D
c.. bsb2tif
d.. Caris Easy-Enc
e.. Gimp
f.. ImageJ
g.. Natural Resources Database
h.. ScanMagic Lite
i.. SoftChart Viewer
j.. STFImageExtractor
IrfanView has also been updated

The GIS pages on the Grime site have risen in the past couple of years to be
one of the best "trafficked" independent utilities in our space. As with any
community resource, I am indebted to the individuals who use the site and
find it is useful. I would particularly like to thank those of you who
provide me with feedback.

Thanks for the vote of confidence.

Ciao,
Graeme
