Hey listers.
We have built centerlines for several of our communities that are extremely accurate (we split the lines strategically so that addresses geocode very close to their actual location). One of the things that we have had to do to get these centerlines to work correctly is put the same address on both the TO of one arc as the FROM of the next arc: 1--------------9()9-------------19
This goes against what we have found to be the general convention: 1--------------9()11------------19
We have dicovered that some applications cannot use our centerlines. We will be fixing our centerlines but I would like to pose the question to the list of the correct way to model a centerline. Our centerline ensures that the point for the address of "9" is located at a different real location than the address of "11". I realize that this is technically considered overlap. Anyone have some input on this?
