Mark,
Talk with your local NRCS office. Look for them under USDA in the government pages of the 'phone book. Their FOCS program should be able to do that. Soils data us usually available for most of the US, again from them.
They also have a soils program which uses arc explorer, or some such ESRI reader, usually on a CD, and should be available for the asking.
