hey Everyone:
=20
I am using AV3.3. I have 2 TINS : the first is a surface and the second =
represents a channel/canal that I am trying to model. The channel =
currently has the same elevations as the surface. What I am trying to do =
is drop the channel tin's elevation by 30 meters. Once I have the lowered =
channel I will then add it to my original surface tin to illustrate what =
this channel might look like after construction. I have converted the =
channel tin to a grid and have adjusted this grid to be lowered by my 30 =
meters.
=20
I am anticipating that once I have cut the channel into the original =
surface that there will be some very steep sides in locations where an =
original surface point is close to the newly cut channel. Can someone =
suggest a script that will allow me to dictate the slope away from the =
channel sides? If this would be better handled my a multipatch polygon, =
can someone suggest what script to use to generate this polygon.
=20
I am not a very good programmer so please keep your responses on the =
easy-to-understand side.
=20
Thanks for your assistance in advance.
