We recently obtained the ArcGIS Desktop 8.3 Raster Update in order to
utilize jpeg2000 and more specifically mrSID Generation 3 images.
Unfortunately most of our business is in a canned MapObjects application.
Images are used as back drops in a query tool loaded with analytical, line
and raster data.
There appears to be no direct update for MapObjects and who knows if there
ever will. I was going examine the dlls for ArcGIS update and continue to
pester ESRI.
Any other suggestions?
