I agree. Most importantly, GIS Monitor makes it crystal clear what is paid
advertising and will never disguise paid advertising as "news" items. I
really appreciate that kind of journalistic integrity. It is incredibly
annoying (and more than a little dishonest) that some other publications
will run a "news" item only if they are paid to insert it, without
disclosing that the "news" they report to you is really a paid advertising
item.
Besides GIS Monitor, www.Directionsmag.com is also a good site to visit.
