Subject: RE: [gislist] Segmentation Error
Date:  01/30/2004 07:10:02 AM
From:  Bill Medina

Some times it is easier (depending on the different locations of the files)
to create a directory with the same path so the when opening the project
ArcView does not prompt you for location of the files. If you cannot do it,
then open the apr with a text editor and change the paths by edit replace
command with the new location of the files, it also helps you to look at the
extension. Then save it making it sure that it has the extension apr and
open it. I hope this helps you.

Dear Michele:
Do you open the ArcView project directly from the windows explorer or
do you open first Arcview and then the project? Sometimes there might
be a difference. I suggest you to open the project from the ArcView
menu.
You also might have a look at the extensions for the management of apr-
files and their repair. Look at the Arcscript-Website:
http://arcscripts.esri.com
Good luck
Anika
