Um, I'm not sure what your point is here, but if it is to opine that unless=
=20
this person does some sort of Masters in GIS she will not be able to use=20
ArcInfo, then I disagree. While she *does* say "all the basic knowledge",=
=20
which sounds daunting, she also says "to start using [ArcInfo]".
The book I recommend will give her a good start.
