Subject: Re: [gislist] arcinfo

From:  GISex* Technologies

I am not indulging in any controversy or arguments, Bookish knowledge is not good enough to use Arc Info and make money? to generate out of such product use of high end technology, you need experience. Just to play around with Arc Info? No-Issue/

Michael Gould <gould@lsi.uji.es> wrote: Um, I'm not sure what your point is here, but if it is to opine that unless
this person does some sort of Masters in GIS she will not be able to use
ArcInfo, then I disagree. While she *does* say "all the basic knowledge",
which sounds daunting, she also says "to start using [ArcInfo]".

The book I recommend will give her a good start.
