but then they should begin with arc view it all they should begin with
ESRI.

or for that matter, why shouldn't they begin with Manifold: or Nucleus
software ??

Arc Info is so expensive: I don't know how these beginners get to spend
so much money on beginning to learn GIS. I will spend my first dollar on
Manifold or something equally cheap.
