Hello GIS-ers,
I'm working on a project which involves counties in New Mexico and Colorado
which contain Mexican Land Grant lands. These lands do are not part of the
PLSS and so do not have township and section lines. I have heard, however,
that for administrative purposes, the PLSS lines have been assumed to
continue over these Mexican Land Grant lands. I'm looking for GIS data
which contain these assumed PLSS lines over the MLG lands. OR -- if that
doesn't exist, is there an easy way to extend the exisiting PLSS lines over
the MLG lands using ArcGIS 8.3?
