Dear GIS community,
I am given this task of estimating the resources and technology required to
do a pilot work for GPS based vehicle tracking project for a small city.
We have already built the mapping interface on SVG, but looking for the kind
of GPS (one unit) to be procured to track one sample vehicle along with the
communication resources (GSM, CDMA, Wireless etc.) and the server
infrastructure required ( to communicate with the GPS equipment and to
download data in real-time).
Can someone suggest their experiences?
