That is a new one for me, we have run ArcMap on many machines that do not
have an internet connection. The license manager is on the LAN, but none of
the network was connected to the internet.

Would anyone know why ESRI requires ArcMap to access the internet in order
to launch and operate properly ? Is there a purpose for this since the
