I am using ArcInfo 8.3 and an HP DesignJet 1055CM Plus.
I was sent over 150 .gra plot files to print out on my plotter. I am having trouble getting good maps on a consistent basis. When I go to ArcGIS>ArcInfoWorkstation>Print, my ArcPress Driver doesn't seem to have a device setting that it likes. As the quality is terrible. My PostScript driver doesn't have 1055CM as an option in its PPD file and it seems to take a long time to print (if it ever prints). I have had a little success with my Windows driver. It prints out one good map and then on the second job it wants to jam my printer queue and I end up having to shut down my computer (and all of its other processes). Again, I have over 150 of these files and this is not a very effective way to do it. Has anyone else worked with this problem?
